Supplied with both the complete VF-300™ system and the satellite foot scanning system, the Varifit 3-D Analytics™ software program opens up a whole new world of biomechanical analysis, patient education, and orthotic prescription writing.
- Biomechanical Analysis

Use the Accu-Pin™ scanner and our 3-D Analytics™ software program to compare changes in foot morphology from a rear-foot neutral to a fully-compensated position by comparing color overlaid color images of arch profiles. For the first time ever, essential and useable biomechanical data becomes available to help your patients understand their abnormal foot function, and to help you determine the correct prescription approach. The analysis includes:- Measurement of the arch height (a true 3-D height, not an interpolation from a pressure scan), and volume in both a rear-foot neutral position and relaxed stance position.
- Calculation of arch depression (foot pronation) under load.
- Calculation in the changes in the Rear-foot Inclination Angle and Fore-foot Declination Angle from a rear-foot neutral to a fully-compensated position.
- Calculation of foot lengthening under load.
- Patient Education
Patients who understand exactly how poor foot function may cause lower-limb pathology are more likely to accept orthotic therapy as a treatment option. The patient education screens of the 3-D Analytics™ program gives you the chance to show your patients high-quality videos of excessive foot pronation, and the adverse effect this may have on the joints of the foot, ankle, knee, hip, and back. Whether you use the Accu-Pin™ scanner integrated in the VF300™ system, or the optional Accu-Light™ non-weight-bearing scanner to "cast" your patients, the cast correction screen of the 3-D Analytics™ software suite allows you to modify the casts with industry-standard cast corrections, including:
- Intrinsic fore-foot varus or valgus balance.
- Arch fill.
- Heel width adjustment.
- Medial ("Kirby") heel skive.
- Positive cast section (Modified Blake inverted protocol)
- Metatarsal dome
