The comprehensive VARIFIT™ system offers a revolutionary capability to analyze your patients’ feet using our patent pending 3D analytics. The analytic component of the simple to use software provides a 3D visual image of the patient’s foot to help them see what is happening to their kinetic chain as they put weight on their foot. Our foot analytics graphically make this important information clear and understandable to your patients for the first time. Information that can now be measured and displayed includes:
- Measurement of the arch height in a neutral position (a true 3D height, not an interpolation from a pressure scan)
- Measurement of the arch height under full load
- Calculation of the pronation or collapse of the foot under load
- Comparison of this data with respect to known standards taken from the general population

The technology enables the practitioner (or assistant) to take 3D images of the foot in both neutral and standing positions (a process that takes only a couple of minutes). The information can then be displayed to the patient and a printed copy can be made for them to take home. The digital file is stored in two places and backed up automatically.
Typical responses from both patients and doctors to this data include:
“I didn’t know my two feet were that different.”
“Wow, my arch is really collapsing when I step on it!”
“My patients love to see their foot information on the computer screen.”
If your goal is to improve your patients’ biomechanical alignment and enable them to live a healthier lifestyle, you will find VARIFIT Analytics an invaluable tool to help you assess and educate your patients’ current problems. It can also help you point out future complications that statistics would show they may face if they don’t use preventative measures such as custom foot orthotics. With this type of information available, your patients will have higher compliance, as well as an “experience to talk about” with their friends.
